Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and nothing is more special than making friends and loved ones a gift. I always think the best gifts come from the heart. I started thinking about what my Husband loves and he’s a huge Star Wars fan. Since he loves his morning coffee so much, I made this Easy DIY Star Wars Valentine’s Day Mug.
It’s so simple to make. For the vinyl decal, you can use a Cricut or Silhouette machine to create your own. The easist (and what I did) is order online from this Etsy Shop (Use code ‘FitDisney’ for 15% off)
It takes less than 15 minutes to put together. I stuffed mine with M&M Candies, but you can insert whatever you want into the mug. I like the idea of chocolate, pretzels or coffee beans. Whatever you decide to put in it, your valentine will know they’re your favorite Jedi!
Easy DIY Star Wars Valentine’s Day Mug
What You Need:
Step One
Start by cleaning your white mug with dishwashing soap and dry by hand. Have your vinyl decal ready to go.
Step Two
Carefully, peel the vinyl decal off of the back paper.
Step Three
Carefully line up your vinyl decal against your mug. Make sure that the wording is lined up straight. Press firmly, using your hand, from one side of the decal to the other. Be careful to especially press firmly on the small details. In the end, you don’t want any air bubbles!
Step Four
Add your candy (or chosen filler) onto a square piece of cellophane wrapper. Pinch the cellophane together at the top. Tie together with ribbon and place on the top of the mug.
